Don’t go unless you like slumming it

The only thing the property has is it’s location next to the beach

The rooms are little more then shacks with tin roofs. Our “cottage” was tiny with only just enough room for the bed which came with torn and stained sheets,the toilet occasionally worked by pulling a string so we had to use a bucket to flush most of the time Ours came with a/c many don’t There was an abandoned building site on our front step No toilet paper or soap on arrival All in all just a grim place

Disappointing

Cheap beds, right next door to lively Outpost hostel. Easy to get trike into town.

Dirty dorms and bathrooms. Cockroaches coming out of drain. Beds very uncomfortable. Not really any security, not able to lock dorm as not everyone had a key for the door! Not really much in the area but fairly easy to get into town. Also we were marked as a no show on booking.com after we had checked out, which was rectified although a little frustrating.

The location was great, the sunsets awesome and some bars...

The location was great, the sunsets awesome and some bars and restaurants close by. Easy access to El Nido town and nice to be out of the busy town.

Our room was not ready for us 4:30 when we arrived, and we had had a long day, so we were a little irritated! But the staff were very helpful and soon sorted things out for us!

basic cottages in a busy neighborhood

beach cottages in el nido, something almost impossible to find these days.

a bit overpriced for a very basic cottage. the place is surrounded by the road and bars so you definitely don't get the quiet beach retreat you might wish for.

The location is right on Corong bay and on the main road...

The location is right on Corong bay and on the main road into El Nido so handy if you don't want to be based in the hustle and bustle of El Nido. The wifi wasn't great during our stay but the staff (Kay) were really helpful and accommodating particular when the ATM's ran out of money and we were unable to pay on arrival. Kay was more than happy to let us stay an extra night due to unexpected changes In our travel plans as well. Initially booked our reservation through Booking.com and the price of the extra night compared the earlier ones was quite a lot less. Would recommend booking direct with site.

The rooms and bathrooms could have been much cleaner. Mirrors looked like they had never been really wiped and it was likely the guests in our room previously lhad experienced some stomachs problems as under the toilet seats were still pretty gross. Obviously you don't really notice this too much when sharing with another female but males will need to lift the seats. We had a mosquito net in our room which had a huge hole in the top which kind of defeats the purpose of having one. And we had no running water from the bathroom sink although I don't think we actually told the site about this during our stay. All the huts do tend to have a weird or damp smell and aren't very sound proof (unless you have booked detached bungalow with a sea view) Parts of the site were still very much under construction and whilst this didn't affect us as we were up early most mornings it may have an impact should you be looking for a lie in.
